Enforce immigration laws

To the editor -- Thanks to Robert Warren, who, in his March 7 letter, asked Yakima Police Chief Sam Granato to "step up" regarding immigration enforcement. I'll take it a step further. Chief Granato and any other local law enforcement officials don't deserve their positions if they aren't willing to enforce immigration. We depend on these people to enforce our laws -- all laws, not just the ones they choose to enforce.
